Welcome, my name is Jérémy. I'm actually tech lead and architect advisor.
I want to share my experience and my knowledge acquired over the last 20 years, by solving problems and making project which make sense to me.
I love to learn new technologies and practice by coding every day.
One of my favorites frameworks to create powerful API using Express.
I really appreciate the freeness to answer every need, and the help we can have over the net.
I use to play with SocketIO as well to create a real nice interaction frontends.
I use to work with Symfony since many years. It is a real complete framework, easy to use and answering almost all issues I have been facing.
I really appreciate the CLI which makes the difference with any other framework. We can create a strong architecture in a very short time and well designed.
Twig (which is embedded in symfony web app image) is also a framework I appreciate. It provide an, easy way to cut the different parts of your templates and work efficiency.
For me the best combo to create nice API with symfony.
It allows to create very quickly an API with almost what you need.
It gives also a nice swagger documentation, which is to take in consideration for a frontend developer.
NextJS is for the most complete frontend framework and especially since the version 14.
I'm using it most of the time in BFF(backend for frontend) mode with an API to access my datas, but can be used in fullstack mode directly plugged to a database.
I discovered Remix very recently. This frontend framework developed by the react router dom team, and it's just easy to use, run very fast and you sent to your react component exactly what they needs.
I really appreciate create apps with that framework.
I belong to the React community. I really love the way you write apps with that library.
Coupled to frameworks like NextJS or more recently Remix, it's a really powerful way to make a nice and intuitive frontend.
I've been working with MySQL since something like 20 years.
Coupled with ORM like doctrine or Prisma, we can build nice relational database architecture.
Mostly working with mongoDB and Express, I like his scalability for an application which needs to grow. Schemas are really representatives of objects you need in your applications. Not a detail, but I'm also a fan of Compass to connect my databases.
For me just the most complete css framework.
Once your design system is defined, it's easy to update, manage the design of your app.
Coupled with React components, it's a pleasure to use. You define your elements just once.
I started with bootstrap. It's today the easiest way to create a web app if you don't have so much design requirement.
I'm more and more using this component library with tailwind. Not super easy to configure, but it gives you a complete panel of components you can use in most cases.
A fast and powerful. It's for me the best way to organize your work and even your life :).
I'm using it to manage my projects, from the definition, to marketing actions through the product development...
For me a big gas plant, but many companies are using it.
I'm familiar with this tool.
Nothing to say about it. Probably the most popular versioning tool.
I'm using it personally, plugged to my Vercel account to deploy my apps.
Note that I have nothing against gitlab or any other repositories 😉.
I like to play and make my designs with photoshop.
It's free, it's easy to use, one of the most efficient tools to create web apps.
The best tool for my symfony apps.
A must to develop today
